History of Lakeview Cabins
The story of Lakeview Cabins is rooted in family history, starting with Joel Young’s great-grandfather, Stewart Young. A lifelong outdoorsman, Stewart spent his life guiding people in hunting, fishing, and trapping across the forests and around the lakes of Pittsburg New Hampshire. His love for the land and the community set the foundation for the family legacy we continue today.
In 2022, Joel and Jodi Young purchased five of the former Ramblewood Cabins from Paul Bergeron. They chose the name Lakeview Cabins to honor both the beauty of the area and their family’s strong ties to Pittsburg.
Pittsburg, New Hampshire, has a long history. Settled in the late 18th century, it is known for its lakes, forests, and wildlife. Over the years, it has been a center for traditional sporting camps, logging, farming, and outdoor recreation, while keeping its small-town charm. Stewart Young’s life as a guide reflects the region's long tradition of exploration and respect for nature.
Today, Lakeview Cabins continues that tradition. Joel and Jodi, along with their daughters Jaylyn and Jaclyn, are involved in every part of the business, making sure each guest has a personal and welcoming experience. Visitors are not just guests—they become part of a living story shaped by family, community, and the natural beauty of Pittsburg.

Our main property features five fully equipped cabins. Each cabin includes the essential amenities, beds, stocked bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and living space with Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or a family getaway our cabins offer the perfect blend of comfort and nature.
We offer a variety of outdoor activities for guest of all ages to enjoy. Visitors can experience the water in a motorboat, kayak or canoe rentals, perfect for sightseeing, fishing, or simply relaxing out on the water. For guests bringing their own boats, we offer dock space. Providing easy and secure access to the water throughout your stay.
